Brisk and beautiful is how I'd describe Allie and David's engagement session! The cold didn't phase these two love birds at all! Walking around central park in the winter is so fun, especially when you're with a couple who is clearly so in love! I can't wait for your wedding in May!!! Read a little below about their story!
How did you two meet?
A friend introduced the two of us over a casual lunch break from work in July 2014! Dave's long-time friend, Nico, was my Media Planner at my first advertising gig (OMD). OMD and Moody's are downtown neighbors, so Nico often grabbed lunch with his good friend (Dave).
How did he propose?
Dave told me we were heading to the South Street Seaport for his Uncle's surprise retirement party (totally believable, his Uncle WAS retiring from a long career in finance). But as we got closer to the location, it began to rain... I was so confused why everyone would be standing outside in the rain, but Dave insisted his family would be standing there waiting to surprise his Uncle. So we walked up that familiar path in the rain...and he proposed!
What's the most important thing you're looking forward to about getting married?
Continuing to live life together :) We've been through so many adventures together - from vacations to new homes - that we're simply best friends who are in love. We can't wait to start a family (!!!) and laugh through life together.
Fun fact - I told my best friend 2 days after out first date that I knew I was going to marry him ;)
What do you love most about each other?
I love how sweet and thoughtful he is, and how he always puts us first. I love how silly we are together and how comfortable we are being ourselves. I love how he takes the lead and I always feel safe with him - his intelligence and his courage leading the way. And not to mention.... he's very handsome and we're going to make cute babies :) lol!
