Once of the best things about being a wedding photographer is getting to know a couple over a year or so. From the moment I met Alicia and Lenny I felt like I knew them forever! Over the course of the last year and a half, I was so honored to be able to hang with them at their engagement session, meet their ADORABLE little son Harris, and most importantly being a part of their wedding day. I knew that their wedding was going to be a blast when Lenny insisted their engagement session be at the Tiki Bar down the shore :)
The Park Chateau is one of the most incredible venues I've been to and it was just perfect for Alicia and Lenny. The beautiful grounds and architecture made for the most romantic ambiance. Alicia looked STUNNING in her lace top gown and the guys looked dapper in their Converse! Alicia chose to have her ladies in dusty blue gowns and her MOH was in a pale pink which all coordinated so nicely for a Spring wedding. The white washed, light and airy chapel at the Park Chateau is hands down one of the prettiest venues I've ever photographed and being able to witness Alicia and Lenny say I do for the first time was just perfect.
A secret favorite part of my day is getting to a sneak peak of the ballroom all set up...before first dances, laughter, and music...a quiet moment to take it all in. I am a total girly girl when it comes to pretty flowers and I just adore photographing what the couple chose to "wow" their guests upon entering and "wow" was what Alicia and Lenny accomplished! The ballroom at Park Chateau is gorgeous in itself but add tall cherry blossom arrangements and wooowheee! From incredible speeches, to a special mother son first dance between Alicia and their son Harris (yes I cried) and a dancing crowd thanks to the SCE Entertainment, the day was just perfect. Alicia and Lenny I wish you guys all the best as you continue your life together as husband and wife! Congrats again you two!
Thank you to all the talented vendors that contributed to this special day!
