Our 2017 wedding season has officially begun and wow, what a way to start off! Liz and Chris's wedding at the Nassau Inn, in Princeton NJ was stunning! Having Princeton University as a backdrop was just dreamy! It may have been raining but that didn't stop them from having the time of their lives.
They chose a pastel color palate of light pinks, greens and blues...the perfect way to kick off Spring. Liz's dress was one of my favorite of all time with the gorgeous, flowy overlay and intricate lace details. Can we talk about the reception details? Kristin Rockhill of Details of I Do, knocked it out of the park with stunning greens, lanterns and tall candles that draped the tables.
A few notes from Kristin herself...Liz and Chris were looking for something romantic and ethereal with tall centerpieces that looked like blooming branches... tons of candle light and lush flowers. The tables featured tall centerpieces that were minimalistic and elegant with lower full arrangements around the base and 9 various height taper candles added to the wow factor of the tab escape. Really unique floor plan that made the room feel full and added visual interest...a mix of banquet tables and round tables create an unexpected layout and added drama to the room. The banquet tables featured greenery runners with blooming quince tucked in and tons of candle light. The head table was the show stopper! This 19 foot long table featured and lush greenery runner, lanterns overflowing with garden blooms and tons of candles including tapers, tea lights and pillar candles. Liz let me do my thing styling the ceremony, place card and entry way table which means lots of custom props and decor including my favorite pink suitcases! The Ceremony featured a vintage 6 foot ladder and branch arch styled with lots of lanterns, candles, vintage trunks books and floral accents.
The night followed with dancing and fun with all of their friends and families! We were so honored to be a part of their story. Congrats again Liz and Chris! We wish you all the love and happiness!
